1- Cairo Hash House Harriers

Hash House Harriers is an international group of walking (or running) social groups that was founded in 1980. CH3 offers Cairenes an opportunity to exercise outdoors and bring along their dogs for morning walks. They meet every Friday at the Ace Club in Maadi.

2- Cheerobics

Ever had a dream of being a cheerleader? Cheerobics Egypt gives you the chance to stay fit by shaking some pompoms. The combination of cheerleading and aerobics is sure to give you the rush you need and keep you more fit than you ever imagined.

Founded in 2012, Cairo Runners conducts weekly neighborhood runs in different locations each week. They offer the perfect morning workout for people who can’t find time to hit the gym during the week. From treasure hunts to half marathons, Cairo Runners are taking Egypt by storm.

4- Jumping Egypt

Can exercising get any more fun than jumping on a trampoline? As kids, we used to bounce on the trampoline for fun, but now Jumping Egypt has transformed our favorite childhood pastime into an amazing calorie burner. They work to strengthen your body while keeping you entertained. According to their Facebook page, jumping is three times more effective than jogging which makes it incredible for those interested in endurance training.

5- Cairo Rugby Football Club

After the Rugby World Cup kicked off over the weekend, we thought we would shed some light over the sport in Cairo. The Cairo Rugby Football Club was founded in 1980 and whether you’re 6 or 60, everyone is welcome to join. They conduct their training sessions at the 7 Sports Centre Maadi on Tuesdays.

Pole fitness has recently become a very popular female sport. Pole Fit Egypt is not only a fun way to exercise, but also claims to inspire women to feel comfortable and confident in their own skin.
